Massie, an 18-year old defenseman,
recorded five goals and 15 assists with Kimball Union Academy – a New Hampshire
High School - this season. According to Elite Prospects he also registered six
goals and five assists in 14 games with the under-18 Boston Jr. Bruins.
The St-Lazare, Quebec native is ranked
81st by NHL Central Scouting for this year’s draft.
UMass Amherst finished last in the
Hockey East standings this past season with a 5-16-1 record.
Meanwhile, Jack Eichel and Boston
University won the Hockey East title last night with a 5-3 victory over UMass
Lowell. Eichel, named tournament MVP, had two goals and an assist in the game.
