The Drummondville Voltigeurs continue to
lose.
After falling 4-2 to the Rimouski
Oceanic last night, the Volts have now lost four straight and nine of their
last 10. They currently sit outside the playoff picture with a 24-34-1-3
record, six points back of the Chicoutimi Sagueneens who currently hold the
final playoff position.
With six games to play, here is who
Drummondville will be facing:
March 8 at Blainville-Boisbriand (2nd
overall, .702 W%)
March 11 vs Val-d’Or (6th overall,
.581 W%)
March 13 at Gatineau (15th
overall, .468 W%)
March 15 vs Blainville-Boisbriand (2nd
overall, .702 W%)
March 20 vs Gatineau (15th
overall, .468 W%)
March 21 at Victoriaville (14th
overall, .476 W%)
Why does any of this matter? The Sea Dogs
currently possess Drummondville’s first overall pick, and if the Volts miss the
playoffs, they’ll face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the coin toss to determine
who picks first overall.
- Speaking of the draft, the QMJHL website has a video preview/commercial for it... for whatever reason.
