The Sea Dogs fell 4-1 to the Titan last night in Fredericton. Bathurst dressed a handful of veteran players while Saint John had a lineup filled with inexperience. We'll see how the two rosters compare this evening.
With veterans set to report to Sea Dogs camp in early September, this week is the final chance for several younger players to show they can make an impact. Saint John plays pre-season games tonight, Friday in Dartmouth and then won't be in action again until Sept. 9.

Pre-Season Records: The Sea Dogs are 2-1-0-0 this pre-season while the Titan are 2-0-0-0.
2021-22 records: The Sea Dogs finished with a record of 47-17-1-3 for 98 points (second Maritimes/third Eastern/third QMJHL) while the Titan went 40-22-3-3 for 86 points (third Maritimes/fourth Eastern/sixth QMJHL). Saint John was eliminated in the opening round of the QMJHL playoffs and went on to win the Memorial Cup as the host team. The Titan were eliminated in the second round.
Last games: The Sea Dogs and Titan met last night at the Aitken Centre with Bathurst earning a 4-1 win. Louis Dumais scored Saint John's lone goal. Emile Perron, Philippe Collette, Jacob Melanson and Cole Larkin scored for Bathurst. Ventsislav Shingarov allowed two goals on 28 shots in nearly 40 minutes of action in the loss. Olivier Brideau allowed two goals on 10 shots in just over 23 minutes of play. The Titan's Joshua Fleming stopped all 13 shots he faced in 40 minutes of play. Jack Howatt allowed a goal on 11 shots in the third period.
