The Islanders, with 41 points, currently own the 16th and final playoff spot in the QMJHL. The Sea Dogs sit five points behind the Isles. Five points is quite a bit of ground to make up but, including tonight's matchup, these two will face each other six more times before the season comes to a close.
This is just the fourth meeting of the year between Saint John and Charlottetown, who battled for top spot in the Maritimes Division last season. Saint John has won two of the three meetings.
Game time tonight is 7:30 p.m.
