BATHURST – Lukas Walter’s first fight in the Quebec Major
Junior Hockey League was a dandy.
Walter, the 20-year old forward who played the last
couple seasons in the Western Hockey League, took on Bathurst’s Lucus Grundy in
the first period of yesterday's 4-1 Saint John Sea Dogs loss in Bathurst. The two tried to go two minutes earlier but were called for
delay of game as the officials broke them up before they could start throwing.
The officials giving each of them a two minute break
might have been a good thing.
