SAINT JOHN – Two teams on losing streaks meet tonight at
Harbour Station.
The Saint John Sea Dogs, losers of nine straight, host
the Charlottetown Islanders, losers of four straight, this evening at 7pm. Both
teams have cooled down after solid starts to the season.
The Sea Dogs sit sixth in the Telus Maritimes Division
and 17th overall with a 5-11-0-2 record. They haven’t won a game
since October 6th.
Saint John played last night and lost 6-2 to the Moncton
Wildcats. An undisciplined third period where they allowed four goals was the
difference.
The Islanders meanwhile enter action today with a
10-5-0-2 record. They sit second in the Maritimes Division and ninth overall in
the league. Charlottetown is four points back of the division leading Halifax
Mooseheads but have played four fewer games.
