SAINT JOHN – Jean-Sebastien Dea and the Rouyn-Noranda
Huskies are in town tonight to battle the Saint John Sea Dogs at 7pm.
Dea and the Huskies sit third in the Telus West Division
and sixth overall in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with a 16-9-1-2
record. They are 6-3-0-1 in their last 10 games but 4-0-0-1 in their past five.
This is the final game of a three-in-three trip through the
Maritimes for the Huskies. Rouyn-Noranda lost 4-3 in a shootout on Thursday in
Bathurst before defeating the Islanders 5-2 in Charlottetown last night.
Along with Dea, who has 22 goals in 26 games this season,
the Huskies feature Marcus Power who sits fourth in QMJHL scoring with 43
points in 28 games.
The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Val-d’Or
Foreurs last night at Harbour Station where they allowed three goals in the
third period. The loss dropped the Dogs back down to 1-8-0-1 in their last 10
games.
Saint John sits last in the Maritimes Division and 17th
overall with a 7-19-0-3 record.
This is the third game of a five game homestand for the
Dogs. They are 1-1 so far and have been outscored 7-6.

LAST GAMES
The Sea Dogs are coming off a 5-3 loss to the Val-d’Or
Foreurs last night at Harbour Station. Kelly Bent, Mackenzie Brown, and Matthew
Highmore all scored for the Dogs. Antoine Landry made 42 saves in the loss.
The Huskies defeated the Islanders 5-2 in Charlottetown
last night. Maxime St-Cyr scored twice while singles came from Marcus Power,
Julien Nantel, and Jean-Sebastien Dea. Alexandre Belanger made 26 saves in net.

This is the first meeting of the season between the Sea
Dogs and Huskies.
The Sea Dogs went 2-0-0-0 against Rouyn-Noranda last
season while the Huskies went 0-1-0-1 against Saint John.
