- The Sea Dogs play their final Quebec road games of the regular season this weekend. They are in Val-d’Or tonight to face the Foreurs at 8:30 pm and are in Rouyn-Noranda to face the Huskies tomorrow at 8:00 pm.
- The Sea Dogs launched a new school reading program this week.
- Jonathan Huberdeau became the first Sea Dog to play 100 NHL games last night. The Toronto Star had an article on his struggles this season.
- Former Sea Dog Mike Hoffman had four goals and an assist in one game on Wednesday. His 22 goals and 53 points in 42 games with the Binghamton Senators place him second in AHL scoring.
- According to Nova News Now, Chase Gaudet will be returned to MHL Yarmouth after this weekend.
- Interview with Jordan Maher, HockeyProspect.com’s top ranked Atlantic Canadian for the upcoming QMJHL Entry Draft.
- Crazy game in Quebec City last night between the Mooseheads and Remparts. Quebec had 17 power plays.
