Sea Dogs president Wayne Long was featured in the latest
episode of Bell Aliant’s “Access ‘Q’ Atlantic” show.
In the interview with John Moore, Long talks about a
number of Sea Dogs related items. Most notably, he said that the general manager search has
been shortlisted to five and they hope to have someone in the position by the
end of February.

The Sea Dogs have kept their GM applicants very quiet.
Stormin Norman, the QMJHL’s Eklund, tweeted this last night.

So take that for what it’s worth. Pretty sure Stormin Norman said the Sea Dogs were going to take Noah Hanifin with the third overall pick in last year's draft, so...
There is some background on DARRELL Young here. He is
indeed currently an amateur scout for the Canucks and has worked as a scout for
a few other NHL teams. Most notably though, he was the Moncton Wildcats’
Director of Hockey Operations for two years in the early 2000s.
