The best QMJHL Draft guide available can now be
purchased.
HockeyProspect.com released their annual draft guide this
past week. This year's edition includes rankings, scouting reports on 150 prospects, game
reports, and player interviews. It's good stuff.
The draft guide can be purchased here in PDF form for
$19.99.
In the guide, HockeyProspect.com once again ranks
American Chad Krys as the best player available. It’s highly unlikely he goes
first overall, but it would be great drama if he did. Ranked second is
defenseman Samuel Girard.
Shawinigan journalist Jonathan Roberge tweeted the other day that Pascal Laberge, the top forward ranked by HockeyProspect.com, would
prefer to play in the province of Quebec. Girard and Pierre-Luc Dubois,
according to Roberge, have no problem with playing in the Maritimes.
The QMJHL Entry Draft is on May 31 in Sherbrooke. Saint
John currently holds the first overall selection.
