It's sounding more and more like the Saint John Sea Dogs will take D Luke Green first overall in next weekend's QMJHL draft.

Green, a 16-year old defenseman from Bedford, recorded 17 goals and 20 assists in 34 Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League games with the Newbridge Academy Gladiators. He added another seven goals and 18 points in 16 playoff matches.Green also finished in a tie for first in scoring at the Gatorade Excellence Challange, recording three goals and eight assists in five games with Team Nova Scotia.
QMJHL Central Scouting ranks Green fifth overall.
Saint John has the first overall selection in the QMJHL Entry Draft which takes place on May 31 in Sherbrooke. The Sea Dogs have had the first overall pick three previous times in their history and picked a defenseman with each.
Luke Green would not last long if Seadogs don't take him.Best available in Maritimes imo.
