The Sea Dogs have called up forward Drew
Gross from the Woodstock Slammers of the MHL.
Gross, 18, played with the GOJHL’s
Stratford Cullitons last season, posting 13 goals and 11 assists in 46 games.
In two pre-season games with the Slammers he has one assist.
Gross appeared in three pre-season games
with Saint John and was held pointless.
According to the Sea Dogs, the 6'0,
182-lb. native of Millbank, Ontario, is expected to be with the team on Friday
for the Sea Dogs season opener against the Islanders in Charlottetown.
Forwards Mitchell Dempsey and Matthew
Highmore along with defenseman Olivier LeBlanc will all be attending NHL rookie
camps over the next week or so.
