Records: The Sea Dogs sit first in the
Maritimes Division and third overall with a 3-1-0-1 record for seven points.
The Islanders are fifth in the division and 14th overall with a
2-3-0-0 record for four points.
Last games: The Sea Dogs and Islanders
met last night at Harbour Station where Saint John earned a 4-3 comeback
victory. Spencer Smallman had two goals while Julien Tessier and Dan Del Paggio
added singles. Daniel Sprong and Kameron Kielly scored for Charlottetown.
Sebastien Auger made 25 saves while Daryl MacCallum made 50.
2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs went
4-4-0-1 against the Islanders last season while Charlottetown went 5-3-0-1
against Saint John.

Random stat: Saint John’s 54 shots last
night were the most by any team this pre-season. Their 24 shots in the second
period were the second most by any team in one period this year.

hits, and seven penalty minutes last night… Will Thompson had one shot, three hits,
and two penalty minutes… Kameron Kielly leads the Islanders in scoring with
four goals and three assists for seven points.
