Charlottetown Islanders and Saint John Sea Dogs…

Records: The Islanders sit fifth in the
Maritimes Division and 12th overall with a 2-2-0-0 record for four
points. The Sea Dogs are fourth in the Maritimes and 11th overall
with a 2-1-0-1 record for five points.
Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off
a 4-3 shootout loss to the Mooseheads on August 23. Samuel Dove-McFalls, Matt
Green, and Mathieu Joseph all scored as Saint John erased a 3-0 deficit. The Islanders
are coming off a 7-5 win over the Wildcats on August 24. Daniel Sprong and
Kameron Kielly each scored twice in the win.
2013-14 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs went
4-4-0-1 against the Islanders last season while Charlottetown went 5-3-0-1
against Saint John.
Last meeting: March 15 when the
Islanders defeated the Sea Dogs 6-2 on the final day of the 2013-14 regular
season. Spencer Smallman had both Saint John goals.
Random stat: The Islanders only had
seven wins last season when scoring first - the fewest in the league.
