I’ll be honest – I didn’t watch all of last night’s QMJHL
season opener between the Val-d’Or Foreurs and Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. I can
only get so excited about an early September game between those two.
But you know what was exciting? The QMJHL’s new webcasts.
As promised by the league, the quality is exceptionally better than what Telus
offered. There were some audio issues last night, but I think just about
everyone watching expected some problems to come up.
Via @DenisL_1981, here’s a YouTube clip of the new
webcast (it wasn’t as glitchy as the video shows):
The webcasts can be watched for free until the end of the month. It also appears fans will be able to watch four games at one time.
