PLAYOFF TICKETS NOW ON SALE

Tickets to games one and two of the Saint John Sea Dogs’ opening round playoff tilt with the P.E.I. Rocket are now available for purchase at the Harbour Station Box Office, online, and by telephone.

This intradivisional series will begin on Friday, March 19 at 7:30pm in Saint John, with the second match set to take place the following evening at 7:00 pm, also in the Port City. A full schedule for this series will be announced on Monday.

It is expected that games three and four will played on Tuesday and Wednesday in Charlottetown. If game five is necessary, it will likely be played at Harbour Station on Friday night. Game six would go Sunday in PEI, and game seven would go Tuesday in Saint John.

Saint John will enter the post-season as the number seed in the league, giving them home-ice advantage throughout their entire playoff run. PEI, fourth in the Atlantic division, is eighth in the QMJHL with one game remaining.

The Sea Dogs went 5-3-0-0 against PEI this year and outscored them 24-19 in the eight meetings. Marco Cousineau shutout the Rocket last night at the Civic Centre by virtue of a 4-0 win.

The Atlantic division champions have one game left in their regular season. That game goes tomorrow evening at 8:00 pm in Moncton. Fans can watch the matchup on Rogers Sportsnet, RDS, and in the United States on the NHL Network.
