Dogs Ranked 5th In CHL Top 10

SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs are ranked fifth in the first edition of the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings for 2012.

The Sea Dogs are 1-2-0-1 in the second half so far and are just 4-5-0-1 in last 10 games. Saint John has been playing with Jonathan Huberdeau, Nathan Beaulieu, Tomas Jurco, Charlie Coyle, Oliver Cooper, Ryan Tesink, Stanislav Galiev, and Devin Oliver-Dares of late.

Other Quebec Major Junior Hockey League teams to crack this week’s top 10 were the Quebec Remparts at No. 3 and the Shawinigan Cataractes at No. 6. The Halifax Mooseheads were an honourable mention.

The weekly rankings of the Canadian Hockey League’s Top 10 teams are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.

It’s a quiet week for the Sea Dogs as they play just two games. They play the Gatineau Olympiques this evening and the Moosehaeds on Saturday.
