PREVIEW
SAINT JOHN – The Saint John Sea Dogs host their expansion cousins this afternoon at Harbour Station as the St. John's Fog Devils Montreal Junior Blainville-Boisbriand Armada make their only trip to southwestern New Brunswick this season.

The Sea Dogs enter action today with a record of 35-13-0-2 for 72 points. They sit one-point back of the Shawinigan Cataractes for first-place in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. The Dogs are 7-2-0-1 in their last 10 games and have won four straight contests.

Saint John is 21-4-0-1 at home this year and have outscored opponents 116-64.

The Armada enter today’s contest with a record of 27-19-2-1 for 57 points. They sit on top of the Telus West standings and are third overall in  the league because of that. Boisbriand is 6-3-0-1 in their last 10 and have won two straight.

Boisbriand is 14-9-0-1 on the road this season and have outscored opponents 87-81. Today’s game will be the Armada’s third in three days and fourth in five days.

LAST GAMES
The Sea Dogs are coming off a thrilling 1-0 win over the Moncton Wildcats on Thursday night at Harbour Station. The game remained tied until there was 8.5 seconds left in the third period when Tomas Jurco deflected a Nathan Beaulieu shot past Roman Will. Mathieu Corbeil was sharp in net, making 20 saves for the shutout.


The Armada were in Charlottetown last night, beating the PEI Rocket 4-2. Olivier Picard, Alex Macallef, Cedric Paquette, and Samuel Hodhod all scored for the winners. Storm Phaneuf made 31 saves for the win.


HEAD-TO-HEAD
The Sea Dogs and Armada have met just once so far this season and that came back on September 28 when Saint John pulled off a 3-1 victory. Tomas Jurco, Ryan Tesink, and Nathan Beaulieu all scored for the Dogs in the win. Mathieu Corbeil made 30 saves in net. Raphael Pouliot scored for Boisbriand while William Racicot allowed three goals on 22 shots.

Saint John is led by Zack Phillips who has 64 points (25G, 39A) in 43 games played in this season. Danick Gauthier leads the squad in goals with 35 while Phillips has a team high 39 assists.

The Armada are led by Jess Tanguy who has 51 points (15G, 36A) in 47 games played this season. Cederic Paquette has a team high 21 goals while Tanguy leads the way in assists with 36.
