Former Sea Dogs forward Charlie Coyle
scored a ridiculous goal last night.
The goal proved to be the game-winner as the Minnesota Wild topped the Edmonton Oilers 2-1. Coyle was named first star with a goal and three shots in just over 11 minutes of ice time.
The goal has made ESPN’s website and
Deadspin and is being considered one of the season’s best goals.
That Charlie
Coyle goal tonight was ridiculous. Just, ridiculous. Maybe the best “from
behind the goal line” deke/tuck I’ve seen.
