If you didn’t know, Nathan Noel’s
four-goal game last night tied a Sea Dogs team record. The above info is from the QMJHL's media guide (click to enlarge).
Noel, who had 10 shots on goal in the
game, was named Yahoo’s first star of the night.
Some other Saturday news and notes:
- Speaking of Noel, Hockey’s Future has an article on the him.
- Sportsnet’s Gare Joyce on Thomas Chabot following the Top Prospects Game: “One insider said that Chabot reminded him of former Sea Dog Nathan Beaulieu in terms of his command of the game."
- Former Sea Dogs forward and current Ottawa Senator Mike Hoffman is certainly a strong candidate to win the fastest skater competition at tonight’s NHL All-Star Game skills competition.
- The Sea Dogs are back in action tomorrow when they host the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles – again – at 3 p.m. The Screaming Eagles are in Moncton tonight.
