Canada takes on Czech Republic tonight

Three Saint John Sea Dogs could all be in action tonight in Ottawa.

Thomas Chabot, Mathieu Joseph and Team Canada take on Jakub Zboril and the Czech Republic tonight at 8 p.m. at Canadian Tire Centre. The game can be seen on TSN.

Both Chabot and Joseph looked pretty good in the Canada's first pre-tournament game on Monday in Montreal - a 5-0 victory over Finland. Chabot and Joseph both had assists.

Following tonight's game, Canada takes on Switzerland in Toronto on Friday to warp up pre-tournament play. The Czech's, meanwhile, take on the United States in Kingston on Friday.

Canada's first game of the 2017 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship is on Boxing Day in Toronto against Russia. The Czechs also begin the tournament on Boxing Day, facing Finland in Montreal.
