Game Day 36: vs Titan

The Saint John Sea Dogs (23-8-3-1, 1st Maritimes, 1st QMJHL) close out 2016 with a 2 p.m. match against the Acadie-Bathurst Titan (18-16-2-1, 4th Maritimes, 10th QMJHL) today at Harbour Station.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 7-2 win in Moncton last night. Bokondji Imama had a hat trick while singles came from Joe Veleno, Ian Smallwood, Kyle Ward and Cole Reginato. Alex D'Orio made 19 saves in the win. The Titan are coming off a 3-2 loss in Charlottetown last night. Kynan Berger and Jeffrey Truchon-Viel scored for the Titan. Anthony Dumont-Bouchard made 32 saves in the loss.

2016-17 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 1-3-0-0 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 3-1-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Wednesday at the KC Irving Regional Centre where the Titan defeated the Sea Dogs 3-0. Jordan Maher, Felix Boivin and Vladimir Kuznetsov scored for Bathurst. Anthony Dumont-Bouchard made 21 saves for the shutout victory.

Three Things to Know
1. More than 4,800 tickets have been sold for today's game, according to the Sea Dogs.

2. The Sea Dogs are, of course, still without Thomas Chabot, Mathieu Joseph and Jakub Zboril due to the world juniors. All three will be in action today in Toronto and Montreal.

3. With Alex D'Orio starting last night in Moncton, Callum Booth will presumably make his second start as a Sea Dog. He was solid on Wednesday in Bathurst, despite the loss.
