The Saint John Sea Dogs confirmed Wednesday that the 16-year-old forward will join the team for the remainder of the season. Héroux was in the Sea Dogs lineup on Wednesday night when the team hosted the Halifax Mooseheads.
Selected 10th overall by Saint John in June's QMJHL Entry Draft, Héroux has appeared in six games with the Sea Dogs as an affiliate player, recording three assists.

Héroux showed his speed and skill at times during his call ups. His size has always been the major question mark. He's listed at 5'08" and 151 lbs on the QMJHL website.
In 26 games with the Saint-Eustache Vikings this season, Héroux recorded 15 goals and 18 assists. He was recently named to the all-star team at the CCM Challenge where he led the tournament in scoring with five goals and seven assists in six games.
Héroux is the fourth member of Saint John's 2025 draft class to be added to the team's roster, joining Alexis Joseph, Everett Baldwin and Oskar Drabczynski.
The Sea Dogs play the Mooseheads in a home-and-home this week to close out the first half. They return from the Christmas break on Dec. 28 when they host the Charlottetown Islanders.
