Game Day 44: at Moncton

MONCTON - The Saint John Sea Dogs and Moncton Wildcats play the first game of a home-and-home series tonight at Avenir Centre.

The Sea Dogs have a tall task in front of them this weekend, facing a team that has loaded up for a long playoff run and will dress their full lineup for just the second time.

Game time this evening is 7 p.m.

Records: The Sea Dogs are 21-21-1-0 for 43 points (fourth Maritimes, seventh Eastern, 11th QMJHL) while the Wildcats are 28-12-0-0 for 56 points (first Maritimes, second Eastern, third QMJHL).

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 3-0 home win over the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Sunday. Dawson Stairs, Josh Lawrence and Brady Burns scored for Saint John.
