For the second straight week, the Saint John Sea Dogs are the number one junior hockey team in the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings.
This is only the second time in franchise history that the team has ranked first. In Station Nation’s rankings this week, they come in at number two.
The Sea Dogs faired okay on a three-on-three Quebec road trip this weekend. On Friday night they squeaked by the Quebec Remparts 5-4 in a shootout but lost 6-4 the following afternoon to the Montreal Junior. Then on Sunday, they absolutely killed the Gatineau Olympiques 8-0.
Luckily, Moncton is in the Top 10 this week so Wildcat fans have nothing to complain about. Barrie comes in at second again this week and Windsor is third.
