MAKE-UP DATES ANNOUNCED

Saint John Sea Dogs president Wayne Long announced in a press release today the make-up dates for this weekend's postponed games.

The game originally scheduled for Saturday, January 2, 2010 versus the Moncton Wildcats will be made-up this Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Game time is 7:00 pm at Harbour Station.

The Rivalry Cup Holiday Food Drive that was supposed to take place on Saturday has been postponed indefinitely by the Sea Dogs. The food drive is part of the Brunswick News Rivalry Cup which will award five points to either the Sea Dogs or Wildcats depending on who collects the most food based on weight. A make-up date for this will announced in the near future.

With the exception of Wednesday, the Wildcats are at Harbour Station only one more time which is on March 5.

The game originally scheduled for Sunday, January 3, 2009 versus the Acadie-Bathurst will be made up on Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Game time is 7:00 pm at Harbour Station.

Fans that purchased tickets to either of this weekend's postponed games may use them as they are printed at the corresponding make-up dates.

Both games were cancelled by the QMJHL because of severe weather conditions in Saint John, Moncton, and northern New Brunswick. The Wildcats departed for Saint John on Saturday afternoon but turned around due to bad road conditions.

Not mentioned in the release is the reported time line where fans can redeem this weekends tickets for a game on a later date. This information was reported in another release on Saturday.

Also not included in today's release is information on if the $5 tickets will be available for either Wednesday game.

So, this week the Sea Dogs face Moncton on Wednesday, Cape Breton on Friday, and Montreal on Saturday. Station Nation will tee up every game with our pre-game coverage.
