NUMBER TWO AGAIN

Some things never change.

One thing that doesn’t seem to change is the Saint John Sea Dogs’ positioning in the BMO CHL MasterCard Top 10 Rankings. The QMJHL’s top ranked team sits second in the country for the seventh straight week.

Saint John only played one game this week which was a 4-3 shootout victory in Moncton last Thursday. The teams other two games were cancelled after severe weather hit southern New Brunswick on the weekend.

Despite missing seven players who were playing at the World Junior Hockey Championships, the Windsor Spitfires remain in the number one spot. Behind Saint John in the number three slot are the Barrie Colts, who are coming off a 22-game winning streak of their own.
