Game Day 42: vs Screaming Eagles

The Saint John Sea Dogs (26-11-3-1, 1st Maritimes, 3rd QMJHL) begin a four-game homestand tonight against the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles (24-17-2-1, 3rd Maritimes, 6th QMJHL). Game time is 3 p.m. at Harbour Station.

Last games: The Sea Dogs and Screaming Eagles met on Friday night at Centre 200. Matthew Highmore had a pair of goals for Saint John while singles came from Joe Veleno and Julien Gauthier. Drake Batherson had Cape Breton's lone goal. Callum Booth made 20 saves in the win. Kyle Jessiman made 29 stops in the loss.

2016-17 head-to-head: Saint John is 4-1-0-0 against Cape Breton this season while the Screaming Eagles are 1-4-0-0 against the Sea Dogs.
