SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs lost their second straight game on Wednesday night, falling 6-3 to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
The Screaming Eagles' power play had a big night, going 3/6 against the league's top penalty killing team - a team that's still missing many of its key killers.
Massimo Carozza had a hat trick for Cape Breton while Phelix Martineau added a pair. Giovanni Fiore also scored, giving him 28 on the season. Kevin Mandolese made 32 saves in the win.
Matthew Highmore, Nathan Noel and Joe Veleno scored for Saint John. Callum Booth was pulled after allowing five goals on 24 shots. Alex D'Orio made four saves in relief.
