Report: Dogs will send picks, prospect to Foreurs

MONTREAL - If you haven't heard, the Saint John Sea Dogs will reportedly acquire Julien Gauthier from the Val-d'Or Foreurs on Friday.

According to Mikael Lalancette of TVA Sports, here's what the Sea Dogs will be sending to the Foreurs:
Cyr-Trottier, a 16-year-old forward, was a fourth-round pick of the Sea Dogs in the 2016 QMJHL Entry Draft. He has a goal and three assists in 18 games with the Trois-Rivières Estacades of the Quebec Midget AAA league this season.

Gauthier is currently playing with Team Canada at the World Junior Hockey Championships, which means he can not be officially traded until Friday when the tournament is over.

The QMJHL's trading period comes to a close on Friday.
