Game 1 will be held on Friday, April 20 at 7:30pm at the
Station. With that aMAZEatorium thing the following day, Game 2 will be played
on Sunday, April 22 at 3pm. The remaining schedule will be announced when Saint
John’s opponent is determined.
The Sea Dogs were the first team to advance to the Quebec
Major Junior Hockey League’s final four after finishing off a sweep of the
Baie-Comeau Drakkar last night. Every other quarter-final series will go at
least five games.
Quebec leads Halifax 3-1 heading into Game 5 on Friday at
the Metro Centre. Chicoutimi/Shawinigan and Rimouski/Blainville-Boisbriand are
both tied at 2-2 heading into action tomorrow night.
Saint John will play the lowest seeded team that moves
on. It is impossible for them to play the Cataractes (No. 2) or the Armada (No.
3) next round. That leaves Quebec (No. 5), Halifax (No. 6), Rimouski (No. 7),
and Chicoutimi (No. 8) as possibilities.
This is the third straight year that the Sea Dogs will
play in third round and the fourth time in five seasons.
