Sebastien Auger has been named the
QMJHL’s first star of the week.
Auger led the Saint John Sea Dogs to two
wins over the weekend, defeating the Halifax Mooseheads 5-2 on Saturday and
Charlottetown Islanders 4-1 on Sunday. The 20-year old netminder made 30 saves
on Saturday and 35 stops on Sunday.
The veteran goaltender is now 7-3 on the
season to go along with a 2.73 goals against average and .912 save percentage.
Baie-Comeau’s Valentin Zykov and
Blainville-Boisbriand’s Daniel Walcott were named the second and third stars of
the week.
