GAMEDAY 21: at Quebec

A preview of tonight’s game between the Saint John Sea Dogs and Quebec Remparts…

Records: The Sea Dogs are first in the Maritimes Division, second overall in the QMJHL and are ranked third in the CHL Top 10 with a record of 13-3-0-3 for 29 points. The Remparts are third in the East Division and fifth overall with a record of 14-6-0-0 for 28 points.

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off a 4-2 win over the Mooseheads in Halifax last Friday. Justice Dundas had a pair of goals while Adam Marsh and Nathan Noel added singles. Sebastien Auger made 27 saves in the win. The Remparts are coming off a 5-4 overtime victory over the Val-d’Or Foreurs on Sunday. Adam Erne, Massimo Carozza, Kurt Etchegary, Marcus Cuomo and Cody Donaghey scored for the Remparts. Etienne Montpetit made 29 saves in the win.

2014-15 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are 0-0-0-1 against the Remparts this season while Quebec is 1-0-0-0 against Saint John.

Last meeting: Oct. 26 at Harbour Station when the Remparts edged the Sea Dogs 3-2 in a shootout. Juraj Siska scored twice for Saint John while Cody Donaghey and Kurt Etchegary scored for the Remparts. Sebastien Auger made 34 saves in the loss while Callum Booth made 32 in the win.
