place in the QMJHL standings with a win over the Acadie-Bathurst Titan
(25-34-3-3, 56 points, 5th Maritimes, 16th QMJHL)

Last games: The Sea Dogs are coming off
a 4-1 home win over the Moncton Wildcats on Saturday night at Harbour Station.
Bokondji Imama, Sam Povorozniouk, Thomas Chabot and Nathan Noel all scored for
Saint John. Alex Bishop made 29 saves in the win. The Titan are coming off a
4-1 home loss to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Saturday. Nicolas
Blanchard scored Bathurst’s only goal while Reilly Pickard made 40 saves in the
loss.
2015-16 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs are
6-1-1-0 against the Titan this season while Bathurst is 2-5-0-1 against Saint
John.

where the Sea Dogs defeated the Titan 7-4. Bokondji Imama, Spencer Smallman,
Joe Veleno, Daniel Del Paggio, Sam Povorozniouk, Mathieu Joseph and Samuel

while singles came from Christophe Boivin and Guillaume Brisebois. Marc-Antoine
Turcotte allowed four goals on 15 shots before getting pulled. Alex Bishop made
14 saves in relief. Reilly Pickard allowed four goals on 20 shots before he got
pulled as well. Alex Kelly made 13 saves in relief.

assists over his past eight games, Matthew Highmore has taken over the Sea
Dogs’ team scoring lead with 75 points.
Three Things to Know
1. Mathieu Joseph, who has been sitting out recently due to a shoulder injury, has an impressive seven goals and seven assists in eight
games against the Titan this season.
2. A win tonight would allow the Sea
Dogs to leapfrog the Shawinigan Cataractes and move into second place in the
overall QMJHL standings.
3. Overage forward Sam Povorozniouk is
very close to the 40-goal mark. He enters the final week of the regular season with 38 on the year. Only
Danick Gauthier, Mike Hoffman, Jonathan Huberdeau and Scott Howes have reached
the 40-goal mark as Sea Dogs.
