PLAYOFF GAME DAY 3: at Bathurst

The Saint John Sea Dogs look to take a commanding 3-0 series lead tonight when they face the Acadie-Bathurst Titan for game three of their first round playoff series. Game time is 7 p.m. at the KC Irving Regional Centre.

Series status: Saint John leads the best-of-seven first round series 2-0.

Last game: The Sea Dogs won game two of the series, 4-2, on Saturday night at Harbour Station. Thomas Chabot, Sam Povorozniouk, Matthew Highmore and Mathieu Joseph all scored for Saint John. Christophe Boivin and Jeffrey Truchon-Viel scored for Bathurst. Marc-Antoine Turcotte made 25 saves in the win. Reilly Pickard, who had to leave the game with an injury with 44 seconds left, made 34 stops in the loss.

2015-16 head-to-head: The Sea Dogs were 6-1-2-0 against the Titan in the regular season while Bathurst went 3-5-0-1 against Saint John.

Player to watch: Jeffrey Truchon-Viel, who scored his first goal of the series on Saturday, scored seven goals and added one assist in nine games against Saint John during the regular season. Overall, 18 of his 33 goals scored this year were netted at the KC Irving Regional Centre.
