SAINT JOHN - The Saint John Sea Dogs lost a fourth straight game on Wednesday at TD Station.

The Sea Dogs had a respectable start to the contest but quickly fell into a deficit, ultimately falling 6-2 to the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. This losing skid began a week ago in Boisbriand when the Armada defeated the Sea Dogs 4-3.

Saint John had a good start to the opening frame but the the visitors would quickly gain control, grabbing a 2-0 lead heading into intermission.

In the second, Blainville-Boisbriand carried the play, outshooting Saint John 16-5 and taking a commanding 4-1 lead. The Sea Dogs' lone goal came from Reid Calder on a misplay behind the net by Armada goaltender Felix Hamel.

The Sea Dogs had a chance to take the momentum in the third when Zachary Morin scored on a partial breakaway just 1:44 in. But any chance of a Saint John comeback ended when Ludovik Grenier scored on a penalty shot at 8:17, which made it 5-2.

Along with Grenier, Eliot Litalien, Rafael Cloutier, Justin Carbonneau, Olivier Lemieux and Egor Goriunov all scored for Blainville-Boisbriand. Hamel made 20 saves in the win, facing just eight dangerous shots.

The Armada, who entered the game with the QMJHL's best power play, went 2/2 on the man advantage.

Justin Robinson made 34 saves in the loss.
