Game Day 56: vs Mooseheads

SAINT JOHN - With nine regular season games remaining, the Saint John Sea Dogs are entering must-win territory if they want to qualify for this year's QMJHL post-season.

The Sea Dogs are just two points back of the Gatineau Olympiques for the 16th and final playoff spot. But the Olympiques are surging right now (they did lose last night to the Chicoutimi Sagueneens), meaning the Sea Dogs need to try and collect as many points as possible in these final few weeks.

The Halifax Mooseheads visit Saint John tonight, a team that is just four points ahead of the Sea Dogs. This is a big game for both clubs. They'll meet twice more in the regular season following this evening's matchup.

The Sea Dogs have lost 11 straight games while the Mooseheads have dropped five straight.

Game time tonight at TD Station is 7 p.m.
