CAMP ROSTER ADJUSTMENTS

Two players who were listed on the Saint John Sea Dogs’ training camp roster will not be attending camp, reports the teams official Twitter page.

Sea Dogs prospect Benjamin Hade will not be attending due to injury. Hade was selected by Saint John 55th overall in the 2010 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft. The Quebec City native played with the Quebec Cyclones of Midget Espoir last season.

In a recent “get to know” feature on the Sea Dogs’ website, Hade stated that his goal was “to play in the QMJHL with the Sea Dogs” during the 2010-11 campaign.

Also not attending camp will be free agent forward Mitchell Deruelle because of a “personal decision.”

Deruelle spent last season with the Cape Breton Tradesmen and registered 14 goals and 35 assists in 34 games played during the regular season. He finished fourth in team scoring behind two Sea Dogs affiliate players – Colin Campbell and Brock Morrison.

In the post-season, Deruelle scored a goal and three assists in five games.

Saint John opens up training camp on Wednesday at 10:00 am at Harbour Station. All sessions are open to the public and are free of charge.
