TWO MORE STAYING HOME

Two more players have elected to not attend Saint John Sea Dogs training camp.

Affiliate players Andrew Langan and Jordan Thomas, both 19, will not be at this summer’s training sessions, reports the Sea Dogs’ Twitter page.

Langan, a Quispamsis native, was drafted by Saint John in the fifth round of the 2007 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Entry Draft. Since then, the forward has played in just 14 regular season games with Saint John.

In his brief Q-league career, Langan has just three assists.

After being one of the final cuts at Sea Dogs camp last year, Langan played in 50 games with the Maritime Junior ‘A’ Hockey League’s Woodstock Slammers. He recorded 28 goals and 41 assists on a powerful Woodstock team.

The 5’6”, 144 lbs. player recorded an assist in his three games with the Sea Dogs last season as a call-up.

Jordan Thomas spent last season with the Halifax Lions recording six assists in 46 regular season games, according to HockeyDB. He was added to Saint John's roster last winter.
