SAINT JOHN – This afternoon, the Saint John Sea Dogs
revealed their tentative promotional schedule for the 2011-12 campaign.
The promotions begin next Thursday when the Sea Dogs host
the Moncton Wildcats in the opening game of the Canadian Hockey League season.
The Memorial Cup will be attendance along with the Quebec Major Junior Hockey
League’s President’s Cup and the holy grail of all sporting trophies Brunswick News
Rivalry Cup. Fans will have the opportunity to take photos with the trophies
one last time before they are returned to the league.
The annual pre-game fan festival will be held prior to
the match from 4-6pm outside Harbour Station. Once inside, there will be a
special pre-game video montage recognizing the Sea Dogs’ incredible 2010-11
season.
The team will not be raising their championship banners
until October 29th because of the amount of returning players that
will miss the first several weeks of the season due to National Hockey League
camps.
