VIDEO: Panthers Prospects Win

Via the Florida Panthers website, here are the highlights from yesterday's 4-2 Florida Panthers win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. Jonathan Huberdeau had a power play goal in the second period and was stopped in the shootout.

Huberdeau's post-game interview:

Last night's game was the first time Panther fans had the chance to see Huberdeau in game action. The reviews were positive.

"Huberdeau added some weight to his frame and came to camp looking ready," writes Frank Rekas of The Rat Trick. "He has a ton of talent for sure, however the Panthers don’t want to rush him, and want to make sure he’s ready physically."

“Had a nice game,” writes Crooklyn Banks of The Litter Box. “He scored a powerplay goal, and had some nice setups that were close to being goals. I don't think he's ready for NHL action yet, but he's one his way.”

According to the Florida Sun-Sentinel newspaper, Huberdeau played on a line with Scott Timmins and Logan Shaw.
