The Titan scored four times and outshot the Sea Dogs 21-11 in the second period. Riley Kidney had a goal and two assists in the frame. Despite the lopsided second, the Sea Dogs entered the third only behind 4-3. Bathurst scored a power play goal midway through the third and then added an empty net goal to secure the win.
Alexandre Lallier scored a pair of goals while other singles came from Joseph Henneberry, Dylan Andrews and Ben Allison. Joshua Flemming made 23 saves in the win.
The Titan were without Seattle Kraken prospect Jacob Melanson who was a healthy scratch, presumably due to an imminent trade.
The Sea Dogs had a three-game winning streak snapped with the loss. Alexis Cournoyer, Eriks Mateiko and Connor Trenholm scored for Saint John. Ventsislav Shingarov made another start and had another busy night, making 39 saves in the loss.

SCRATCHES: The Sea Dogs were without goaltender Nikolas Hurtubise (healthy); defensemen Charlie DesRoches (injury) and Vincent Despont (world juniors); and forwards Brady Burns (serving third game of a five-game suspension) and Tomasz Szczerba (injury).
NOTES: The Sea Dogs dressed 11 forwards and seven defensemen... rookie defenseman Jeremie Richard played in his first game since Nov. 18 due to injury... Riley Kidney was in the Titan lineup but Jacob Melanson was a healthy scratch. Both are likely to be traded before the QMJHL's holiday trade period comes to a close next Friday... Kidney finished the night with a goal and three assists... the Titan wore their third jerseys... Connor Trenholm had five shots... Saint John won 32 of 55 faceoffs... the Titan went 2/4 on the power play... attendance was 1,712.
