DRUMMONDVILLE, QC
- Jacob Beaulieu's first Quebec Major Junior Hockey League goal proved to be the winner in the Saint John Sea Dogs' 3-2 victory over the Drummondville Voltigeurs on Saturday.

Beaulieu, who has been a healthy scratch in recent weeks, scored at 13:32 of the third period to break a 2-2 tie. Brady Burns scored Saint John's other goals while Ventsislav Shingarov made 27 saves in the win.

This was just the third road win of the season for the Sea Dogs and their first in Quebec. Saint John rebounded from some early first period penalty trouble to lead 1-0 after one. After a second period that was fiesty at times, the Volts scored twice early in the third to take a 2-1 lead.

Burns' second of the night tied the game at 7:44 of the final frame and then Beaulieu netted the winner.

Jeremy Lapointe and Tyler Peddle had Drummondville goals. Jacob Goobie made 22 saves in the loss.

This was the second and final meeting of the season between the Sea Dogs and Voltigeurs. Saint John won both contests.
