The Saint John Sea Dogs will honour the past on Saturday
night.
The Sea Dogs have designated Saturday’s game as Saint
John Vito’s Night. The club will honour the Vito’s team that won the national
senior championship, the Allan Cup, back in 1992.
Sea Dogs equipment manager David Kelly posted on Instagram (which you should be checking out on a regular basis) the above
photos of the jerseys the Sea Dogs will wear on Saturday night. Saint John
hosts the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles at 7pm at Harbour Station.
It’s not the first time the Sea Dogs have honoured past
champions from the city. They wore Saint John Mooseheads sweaters for a game
during the 2008-09 season and wore Saint John Flames digs in 2010-11.
We approve of these jerseys mainly because of Vito’s.
Unreal restaurant.
