Notably absent from the roster is the QMJHL two best rookie Russian's in Stanislav Galiev and Kirill Kabanov. Both players are expected to go in the opening round of this years NHL entry draft. Last year, Dmitri Kulikov played as a 17-year-old and is now skating regular shifts with the Florida Panthers.
The Sea Dogs' Stanislav Galiev currently sits third in rookie scoring with six goals and 15 assists in 21 games this season. He has been skating on the top line with NHL draft picks Nicholas Petersen and Mike Hoffman.
The highly touted Kirill Kabanov has five goals and nine assists in just 11 games with the Wildcats. He was one of the few Wildcats not hit with the H1N1 virus over the past two weeks.
The reason why these two were left off the roster is unknown as they will likely be team mates at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championship. The roster can be seen below:
