Game Day 32: vs Oceanic

SAINT JOHN - The new-look Saint John Sea Dogs looked pretty good in their debut.

The Sea Dogs had a fairly dominant performance in a 4-0 win over the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada on Friday night at TD Station. Saint John outshot the visitors 40-17 with four different players scoring. Goaltender Nikolas Hurtubise recorded a shutout in his debut.

The Armada unloaded at the trade deadline - but no wins came easy for the Sea Dogs in the first half of the season. Winning games the team should win is a good start to the 2022 portion of the schedule.

The Sea Dogs will look to build off Friday's momentum this afternoon when they host the Rimouski Oceanic - the first of two meetings between the clubs this week. Game time today at TD Station is 3 p.m.
