The Sea Dogs haven't played since last Friday's disappointing 6-1 loss in Rimouski, a defeat that ended a four-game winning streak. They'll look to get things back on track tonight as they play the first game of a three-in-three.
Tonight's contest will be the Mooseheads' first home game since Dec. 16 due to COVID restrictions in Nova Scotia. They've played four games since the league restarted play a few weeks ago, all of which were on the road.

Last meeting: Nov. 30 at TD Station where the Sea Dogs defeated the Mooseheads 4-3 in overtime. Josh Lawrence, Peter Reynolds, Jeremie Poirier and William Villeneuve scored for Saint John. Jordan Dumais, Zachary Beauregard and Attilio Biasca had Halifax goals. Noah Patenaude made 34 stops in the win. Brady James made 25 saves in the loss.

Moosehead to watch: After a few weeks of drama before the trade deadline, Elliot Desnoyers stuck with the Mooseheads instead of being dealt to the Sea Dogs (which was strongly rumoured/reported). This is the first meeting between the Dogs and Moose since the deadline.
Random stat: The Sea Dogs and Mooseheads will face each other six times in the second half, including four times between now and March 6.
