The bad news is that tonight they face an even tougher opponent, taking on the Memorial Cup host Rimouski Oceanic. Game time is 7 p.m. at TD Station.
The Oceanic begin a three-game Maritime road trip tonight, a trip that also includes a big matchup against the Moncton Wildcats tomorrow and a visit to Charlottetown on Sunday. The key for Rimouski this evening will be to not look ahead to Saturday's showdown against the first-place Wildcats.
Former Sea Dogs captain Eriks Mateiko will make his return to Saint John tonight. The Washington Capitals prospect has one goal in three games with the Oceanic.
