SYDNEY, NS – We know one thing about
tonight’s game: Centre 200 is going to be rocking.
According to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles Facebook page, less than 200 tickets remain for tonight’s game six
against the Saint John Sea Dogs. Game time is 7 p.m.
The Eagles can advance to the semifinals
with a victory tonight, something they haven’t done since 2007. The team is
appearing in the second round of the playoffs for the first time since 2009, so
you know the fans are just a bit excited.
There will surely be a few Sea Dogs fans
in the building tonight, as there were for games three and four. Some
did not have a pleasant experience, though.
Let’s keep it civil, people.
If the Sea Dogs win tonight, a game
seven – the first in Sea Dogs history – would be played on Tuesday night at
Harbour Station.
The only other game today has the Shawinigan Cataractes trying the eliminate the Charlottetown Islanders in game six of that series. The Gatineau-Moncton series, which the Wildcats lead 3-2, resumes tomorrow.
