Game 3 – Monday, April 11 at Cape Breton – 7 p.m.

Ex-Sea Dogs on the Screaming Eagles: Defenseman Olivier LeBlanc

Player to watch: Sam Povorozniouk was held pointless for the first time this post-season on Thursday. He had six goals and three assists in five games in the first round. The 20-year-old was good against the Screaming Eagles in the regular season, scoring five goals and adding two assists in nine games.

Three Things to Know
1. Not only have the Sea Dogs never won a playoff series after dropping the first game, they’ve also never won the second game when losing the first. Some history will have to be made if Saint John wants to make the semifinals.

2. Thomas Chabot was in noticeable pain for much of Thursday’s game after taking a hit early in the first period. He appeared to be favouring his left leg. His health is certainly a concern for an already banged up team.

3. Cape Breton’s Maxim Lazarev is third in QMJHL scoring with five goals and 13 points in six games.

Out of town:
Moncton at Gatineau - 7:00 PM EDT
Blainville-Boisbriand at Rouyn-Noranda - 7:00 PM EDT

Next game: Game three of this series takes place on Monday night at 7 p.m. at Centre 200.
